Online Safety Training for Cleaning Companies (OSHA Compliant)

Did you know that OSHA requires employers to train their employees in the safety and health aspects of their jobs in order to protect them from injuries and illnesses? Training is also essential for keeping Worker's Compensation claims to a minimum, which keeps costs down. Employers need to keep records of all safety and health training because records provide evidence of the employer's compliance with OSHA standards. One of the first questions an accident investigator will ask is, "Was the injured employee trained to do the job?" If you keep good records, you can confidently answer "Yes" to that question.

How do I order the training and what can I expect next?

  1. Click on the link below that corresponds to the number of employees that will be taking the training. Check out to complete your order.
  2. Upon receipt of payment, and within one business day, MyHouseCleaningBiz.com will send an email to the owner, requesting the names of the employees enrolling in the course.
  3. Within two business days of receiving the employee information, EMPO will send the owner an email that includes site login instructions and a site password for his/her employees.
  4. The owner will give the login instructions to his/her employee(s). The employee has 60 days to enroll in the course and complete the training or the enrollment key will expire.

After completing the online training, the employee will be given a 20 question quiz. He/she must receive a score of 80% or better to pass the test. If the employee does not pass the first time, he/she can retake the test (questions are shuffled for subsequent attempts).

Upon successful completion of the test, a Certificate of Completion is emailed to the employee, who will give a copy to you. Place a copy of the certificate in the employee's file.
