Why did you start the business? Passionate about green cleaning, enjoyed cleaning and being my own boss

What has been the biggest surprise, good or bad, since you started? Biggest good surprise is how much I enjoy being my own boss.....not really any bad surprises, it is basically as difficult as I thought it was going to be.
What is the toughest part of running your business? Bringing in consistent new business.
What is the best part of running your business? Self employment and being an advocate for my business.
Is there anything that you would have done differently? I would have been much more proactive in terms of marketing.
What is the most important thing you will be adding, doing, changing in the next year for your business? Staying focused on Client relationships, follow-ups, employee training and marketing stragergies.
Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? Hoping to expand and hire.
Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? Short term (2 years), I see my business being completely self sustaining financially and earning a healthy profit.
What advice could you give others and please don't hold back! Research, research, research! Know and understand your target market. Know your product! Especially if you are "green" like me.

Is there a specific person or event in your life that made you decide to go into business for yourself? Became separated from husband.....time for me now!
