When did you open your business? 2009

What services do you offer? House cleaning, office cleaning, amazing all natural product line.

Why did you start the business? I had a small amount of money and wanted to experience entrepreneurship. I have always been involved in the service industry and have a passion for healthy living. Cleaning was perfect for me.

How many people are in your company? 3

What has been the biggest surprise, good or bad, since you started? I moved out of state and wasn't prepared to sell my business or my clients, I am starting all over. Definitely a mixed blessing, I will be doing things differently this time around!

What is the toughest part of running your business? Getting out of the "I can do everything" mindset. I am really great at a lot of things but I need to find what others are better at, and let them help my business.

What is the best part of running your business? My way, my hours, my income potential. There is a lot of freedom that comes with taking your life/career into your own hands.

Is there anything that you would have done differently? I will have my clients sign agreements, and I will have a detailed plan this time!

What is the most important thing you will be adding, doing, changing in the next year for your business? Adding a marketable all natural product line to make my company more self sufficient. I will be setting up my company so if I am not involved it can actually run itself, a beautiful vision.

Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? In two years I see about 50 motivated people having a full time job blessing the lives of our clients. I see me sitting back running the operations side of things and being a visionary of entrepreneurship.

In 5 years I see something that looks like a franchise but without the start up fees and too many royalties.

In 10 years I see us all over the nation and perhaps the world.

What advice could you give others and please don't hold back! Be yourself in your company. Make this business first and foremost about SERVICE. Our job is to provide a therapeutic, stress free environment for our clients. I feel like so many are bogged down by life that they desperately need our help, or just our companionship. Do not make this all about money, put money below helping and the money will naturally come. Don't use harmful chemicals, I know they clean great but IT IS NOT WORTH IT! Provide a good well paying job for hard working people, your clients will pay for them!

School - high school, college, technical school: High School Grad. College was not right for me, I have an excessive amount of self education in the nutrition/wellness industry and in running a business.

What are some of your prior jobs or businesses? 8 years in the restaurant industry as a server and bartender. I also have done some property management (and hated every minute :))

Is there a specific person or event in your life that made you decide to go into business for yourself? Yep child number 2 and too many missed t-ball games and holidays!
