What services do you offer? Residential cleaning services
Why did you start the business? I actually enjoy cleaning & meeting new people. I want to be able to provide a quality service where I am in control of my own schedule so that I can spend quality time with my family.
How many people are in your company? So far just myself, but hopefully things go well & that will change!
What has been the biggest surprise, good or bad, since you started? The amount of research that needed to be done in order to get everything just right! Some things were fairly easy to accomplish & other things were a little more challenging. I have already learned so much & am looking forward to learning much more.
What is the toughest part of running your business? Well, my business isn't really off the ground yet so I can't quite answer that yet.
What is the best part of running your business? Again, my business isn't off the ground yet but I think the best part will be providing a quality service & having happy clients.
Is there anything that you would have done differently? I don't know if I would have done anything differently, I just wish I would have a little more faith in myself and done this sooner!
What is the most important thing you will be adding, doing, changing in the next year for your business? Most important to me will be getting those first few clients!
Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? I'm going to work very hard & hope to be doing well enough that in 5 years I will have been able to hire 2-3 employees. Fingers crossed here ;)
What advice could you give others and please don't hold back! Definately do your research before just jumping in. You really need to educate yourself in every aspect of a house cleaning service & being a business owner.

Is there a specific person or event in your life that made you decide to go into business for yourself? I've wanted to open my own business for a long long time but wasn't quite sure what type of business I wanted. When I began working in the housekeeping department at a hotel, I figured it out pretty quickly! I love cleaning!
