What services do you offer? I offer Residential, Commercial and Rental Property Cleanings
Why did you start the business? I have always worked at cleaning businesses. I really enjoy cleaning and I am good at what I do. I have always wanted to start my own cleaning business and finally got up the courage to go for it.
How many people are in your company? 2
What has been the biggest surprise, good or bad, since you started? The biggest surprise is when people try to talk me down on the price. I need to figure out a way to be able to stand my ground and stick to the price I give them, which is an affordable and competitive price.
What is the toughest part of running your business? I am having a hard time bidding my jobs, so I can make enough money to be able to afford to be able to pay my assistant and to have enough for me to be able to make a living to.
What is the best part of running your business? I can work my schedule around my daughters school hours.
Is there anything that you would have done differently? No, not that I can think of!
What is the most important thing you will be adding, doing, changing in the next year for your business? Figure out how to get more clients!
Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? I want to get to the point that I can be able to have a couple of cleaning teams going while I spend my time on advertising and going onsite to give quotes for cleaning jobs.
What advice could you give others and please don't hold back! Don't ever let a client take advantage of you!!! Stick to your guns when it comes to pricing a cleaning job, if not you will not make it in this business.

Is there a specific person or event in your life that made you decide to go into business for yourself? My Father always was wanting me to start my own cleaning business. I finally listened to him and he has a MBA, so he has helped me alot on the business end of it!
