What services do you offer? Vacated estate clear out and assistance with cleaning/organizing.
Why did you start the business? Needed an income and I love to help people. We were thinking of purchasing a house to rent out and saw many homes never received the cleaning they should have gotten prior to being put on the market. I felt this was a niche I could fill.
How many people are in your company? Three
What has been the biggest surprise, good or bad, since you started? The biggest surprise has been the amount of time it takes to clean has consistently been more than I thought it would be.
What is the toughest part of running your business? The toughest part of running the business is communicating expectations with workers.
What is the best part of running your business? The best part of the business is meeting people.
Is there anything that you would have done differently? Employee training is what I would have done differently.
What is the most important thing you will be adding, doing, changing in the next year for your business? Communication with workers and training will be at the top of the list. Next is a clear managing plan between the division of labor oversight between myself and my spouse.
Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? I am hoping my business will employ more people and provide them with some benefits.
What advice could you give others and please don't hold back! I am not yet prepared to give advice.

School - high school, college, technical school: I am still taking college courses.
What are some of your prior jobs or businesses: I have been a maid, housewife, mother, caregiver, school secretary and volunteer for a variety of organizations.
