What services do you offer? Residential cleaning and small business cleaning.

Why did you start the business? I have been cleaning for many years and did not like working for people who raked in the money and only aid their employees minimum wage.

How many people are in your company? 6

What has been the biggest surprise, good or bad, since you started? How people forget what they agreed to.

What is the toughest part of running your business? Office work on top of cleaning.

What is the best part of running your business? A sense of satisfaction when a customer is happy and refers us to family and friends. Also the relationship you build with your clients after many years of serving them.

Is there anything that you would have done differently? Cannot think of anything right now.

What is the most important thing you will be adding, doing, changing in the next year for your business? I will stop being afraid of charging what we are worth.

Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? This year we will come close to $100,000.00, in 2 years we will at least triple that, if we can keep up with demand. In five I hope to have added carpet cleaning to our list of services. In 10 I hope to be a better employer.

What advice could you give others and please don't hold back! Don't spend too much money on supplies, look for people and pet friendly supplies that can be used in a multitude of ways. Learn about the laws of employment. Get some business schooling. Separate your money and the business's money right away. Get a good accountant and seek the advice of an attorney.

Is there a specific person or event in your life that made you decide to go into business for yourself? Just working for cleaning company's that do not take experience into account when paying someone.
