When did you open your business? 2001

What services do you offer? Residential and small office cleaning.

Why did you start the business? I was cleaning houses on my own and wanted to make it into a business with employees. I thought it was fun.

How many people are in your company? 5

What has been the biggest surprise, good or bad, since you started? I can't seem to get bigger 4 to 6 employees . I have a lot of part time work and would like to be able to give full time work consistently.

What is the toughest part of running your business? Marketing and finding good employees.

What is the best part of running your business? I enjoy having my own business and making customers and employees happy.

Is there anything that you would have done differently? I started out being part of my son's franchise. He wanted us to go our separate ways so 2 years ago. I had to changed the name of my business when I broke off from his because it was part of his name.
Because of that I appear to be a new business and it's like starting over. I would probably have never joined with his business in the first place.

What is the most important thing you will be adding, doing, changing in the next year for your business? I'm making a new website and educating myself on making it better. Also changing our image with new uniform colors.

Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? I hope to see it grow

What advice could you give others and please don't hold back! Running and growing your business is hard work. If you love it, don't give up!
