What services do you offer? Domestic Cleaning Services -Washing,Ironing, Babysitting, Cleaning (Spring clean, pre/post construction, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) each customized to suit customers needs.
Why did you start the business? Was frustrated with the quality of helpers available and wanted to do a business work for myself) one that that was a bit unique to my region.
How many people are in your company? eight
What has been the biggest surprise, good or bad, since you started? How hard it is to trust people.
What is the toughest part of running your business? Employing the right persons.
Is there anything that you would have done differently? No, I have learn and grown so much, i love the experience and it has help be to be the person i am today. (oh wish i had more start up Capital).
What is the most important thing you will be adding, doing, changing in the next year for your business? Employing more persons, implementing more systems, marketing more.
Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? Now i have seven temporary workers and operate from Kingston, we work in other areas. in the next two years our Montego Bay and Mandeville office should be in operation and having about thirty staff (temporary and permanent) next five years having at least four locations island wide. and at least Ninety employees. in Another ten years expanding to the other Caribbean Islands.
What advice could you give others and please don't hold back! Stay focus and positive, it is not easy but determination is the key to success.
