| What services do you offer? | I offer residential cleaning services. I offer cleaning services to real estate agents who need their vacant homes cleaned. |
| Why did you start the business? | I started this business because I needed the money to help my husband out. We have three kids and one getting ready to start college. |
| How many people are in your company? | I am currently working alone |
| What has been the biggest surprise, good or bad, since you started? | The biggest challenge I am trying to overcome is learning how to quote a price for apartments and homes. I have found myself putting more in and getting short changed at the end. |
| What is the toughest part of running your business? | The toughest part for me is working alone. I enjoy it but I have found myself steering away from certain cleaning jobs like move outs, because I am still not sure If I can get that job done in a timely manner on my own. I would like to hire some help but right now I am just getting my name out there and I want to learn and master it on my own before I bring someone in. |
| What is the best part of running your business? | I find that being my own boss is the best feeling ever |
| Is there anything that you would have done differently? | My business is only a month old |
| What is the most important thing you will be adding, doing, changing in the next year for your business? | I hope to take some business classes and learn about how to hire some help and learn about payroll etc... I also would like to strengthen my business by getting some jobs with local property management companies. |
| Where do you see your business in 2 years, 5 years, and 10 years? | I hope that I will be in the positive financially within 2 years. In 5 years I would love to have a small crew working under me. I would love to supervise |
| What advice could you give others and please don't hold back! | I am not sure what to tell anyone at this point. I am currently looking for good advice on what products to use, how to quote cleaning jobs and so on. |
