Cleaning Hard Water Spots

We get a lot of questions about how to clean hard water spots off shower doors and glass. Try this:

Here is a trick I found out one day washing windows with hard water. I was thinking about the acid in Soft Scrub, so along with the #0000 steel wool I usually use, I decided to try using Soft Scrub. Here's how I do it:

Apply Soft Scrub to the steel wool and then to the shower door or window where the hard water is built up, start at the bottom of the door or window and work your way up, work it in a circular motion and do small areas at a time 12" x 12". Each time you complete an area rinse it with water and then move to the next area.

The acid in the Soft Scrub will help remove the hard water build-up. Depending on the build-up you might have to apply this twice to completely remove the deposits. I found this to be a very effective and safe way to remove hard water deposits from different types of surfaces.
